Our luxury desert camp in Merzouga sits among the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, far from roads and city lights, in one of the most beautiful corners of the Moroccan Sahara.
Here the days are measured by the light on the sand. You arrive by camel as the dunes turn copper, share a traditional Moroccan dinner under an open sky, and fall asleep in a real bed inside your own private tent. In the morning, the sun rises over the dunes just a few steps from your door.
We are a small, personal camp. That means calm, space and silence, and a team that knows your name and takes care of the details, from your arrival time to the way you like your mint tea.

Where is our camp?
The camp is in the Erg Chebbi dunes, close to the village of Merzouga in south-eastern Morocco, on the edge of the Sahara Desert.
- About 2.5 hours by road from Errachidia airport (Moulay Ali Cherif)
- About 8 hours by road from Fes
- About 9 to 10 hours by road from Marrakech, usually split over two days
Most guests drive themselves or arrive on a private tour. We meet you in Merzouga and guide you to camp, and we can help you find a driver if you need one.

Where is the camp located?
Our camp is in the Erg Chebbi dunes near the village of Merzouga, in south-eastern Morocco. Merzouga is a long day's drive from Marrakech or Fes, and about two and a half hours by road from Errachidia, the nearest airport. We send you clear directions and a meeting point when you book.
What is included in the price?
Every tent price includes your private luxury tent for the night, a traditional Moroccan dinner, breakfast and a camel ride. You also enjoy sunset and sunrise in the dunes and our Moroccan hospitality. Prices are per tent, per night.
How does the camel ride work?
Our camel guides lead you through the dunes at a calm walking pace, usually around sunset on arrival or at sunrise. No experience is needed. Tell us if anyone in your group prefers not to ride and we will arrange an alternative way to reach camp.
How do we arrive at the camp?
Most guests meet us in Merzouga in the afternoon. From there you continue into the dunes by camel or by 4x4, depending on your preference and luggage. You can leave your car safely at the meeting point. We will confirm the exact place and time with you on WhatsApp.
How do I book and check availability?
Send us your dates and number of guests by WhatsApp, by email or with the enquiry form. We reply personally, usually within 24 hours, to confirm availability and answer any questions. There is no online payment and no booking platform in between.
What should I bring to the desert?
Bring a small overnight bag, comfortable clothes and closed shoes or sandals, a warm layer for the evening, sunglasses, sun cream, a hat or scarf and a power bank. Desert nights can be cold from November to March, so a fleece or jacket is a good idea.
Can you arrange stays for larger groups?
Yes. For larger groups, families or a different tent arrangement, contact us with your number of guests and dates and we will prepare a personalized offer.
